Bob, selective as always.

Bob, on March 14, took great delight in pointing to Dr. Francis S. Collins, author of "The Language of God," as being a convert from atheist to Christian. Collins was a guest on Bob's show some months ago.

Bob went on and on about the experience of sequencing the genome, which, according to Collins, was both a "stunning scientific achievement and an occasion of worship."

Fine. But Bob might also have mentioned that Dr. Collins told Time Magazine, "I don't think God intended Genesis to teach science. The evidence in favor of evolution is utterly compelling." Writer David van Miema continued in his article: "He (Collins) has little patience with those who say evolution is just a theory" Time Magazine July 17, 2006 page 48
